Zain Javadd "Zayn" Malik, nascido em Bradford, Inglaterra, a 12 de janeiro de 1993, é filho de Tricia Malik e Yaser. Ele tem uma irmã mais velha, Doniya, e duas irmãs mais novas, Waliyha e Safaa. Malik cresceu no East Bowling e foi um aluno da Lower Fields Primary School e mais tarde da Tong High School. Zayn não se sentiu integrado nas suas duas primeiras escolas, por ser multirracial. Contudo, Malik diz ter começado a apreciar a sua aparência depois de mudar de escola aos 12 anos.

Na audição para The X Factor, o vocalista disse que procurava experiência. Ele citou música urbana como sua primeira influência musical, seguida porR&B e rap.Para sua audição no programa, ele cantou o single "Let Me Love You" do cantor Mario. Assim como os outros membros da banda, Zayn classifica Bruno Mars como uma de suas influências. Em maio de 2012, o cantor revelou que está namorando Perrie Edwards, que faz parte do grupoLittle Mix. Em agosto de 2013, foi anunciado que Zayn e Perrie estão noivos.

Harry ( Harold) Edward Styles

Harry Edward Styles (born 1 February 1994) is an English pop singer-songwriter, known as a member of the boy band One Direction. He made his debut as a singer with his band White Eskimo, who performed locally in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England. In 2010, Styles auditioned as a solo artist for the British television series The X Factor. After being eliminated as a solo performer, Styles was brought back into the competition, along with four other contestants, to form the group that would later become known as One Direction.

A native of Holmes Chapel, Styles attended Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, and also worked part-time at a local bakery. He finished his education after taking his GCSEs, as his career had taken off. He became interested in singing at a young age, performing at various talent shows, singing competitions and weddings. In addition to singing, Styles has also appeared in television and film, including the Nickelodeon series iCarly and the autobiographical concert film One Direction: This Is Us.

Since joining One Direction, Styles, along with bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, have released three commercially successful albums, performed on a worldwide tour, and won several awards, including two BRIT Awards and fourMTV Video Music Awards. Their debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, and has since sold over 5 million copies worldwide, making it among one the best-selling singles of all time.

Liam James Payne (born August 29, 1993) is a member of One Direction along with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, andZayn Malik.

Early Life

Liam was born in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England , UK to Geoff and Karen Payne. He has two older sisters, Nicola and Ruth. Liam was born three weeks early, and as a result he had a lot of health problems. He spent the first four years of his life in and out of the hospital having regular tests done. Doctors noticed one of his kidneys was scarred and dysfunctional. To help cope with the pain, he had 32 injections in his arm in the morning and evening as a child. In 2012 Liam found out and shared via Twitter that his kidney was functioning again.^[1]

From the age of six, Liam had Begun to start showing signs of singing talent. He would sing for his relatives or pub crowds on karaoke. However, he had his heart set on becoming an Olympic runner, and was a member of the Wolverhampton and Bilston Athletics Club. He would wake up at 5am every day to run five miles before school. His running dream ended at 14 years old when he narrowly missed out on a spot in the England schools team. At that point, he decided to completely focus on his singing, although he still loved his football club, West Bromwich Albion.

He started perfecting his singing skills at the age of 12 when he joined Pink Productions, a performing arts group based in Wolverhampton, that allowed him to showcase his talent in front of a real audience for the first time. Liam completed 11 GCSEs at St Peter’s Collegiate School before moving on to study music technology at Wolverhampton College’s Paget Road campus, which he hoped would help him learn more about the industry.

Louis William Tomlison

Louis William Tomlinson, nascido em Doncaster, Inglaterra, a 24 de dezembro de 1991 (22 anos), é filho de Johannah e Mark, e tem cinco irmãs mais novas, Charlotte, Felicite, Georgia (filha de seu pai com outra mulher) e as gêmeas Daisy e Phoebe. Seus pais se separaram em 2011. Ele estudou na Hall Cross School, onde atuou em diversas produções, e na Hayfield School.

Suas irmãs Daisy e Phoebe tinham papéis em uma série infantil chamada Fat Friends e Louis as acompanhava para servir de extra. Mais tarde, frequentou uma escola de atuação em Barnsley. Ele atuou em um filme de drama do ITV, chamado If I Had You e teve um pequeno papel em Waterloo Road. Em 2010, ele fez uma audição solo na sétima edição do programa The X Factor, cantando "Hey There Delilah" logo após o Simon pedir para que ele mudasse a música enquanto cantava "Elvis Ain't Dead". Niall James Horan

Niall James Horan, nascido em Mullingar, Irlanda,a 13 de setembro de 1993 (21 anos), é filho de Maura Gallagher e Bobby Horan, e irmão de Greg Horan. Seus pais se divorciaram quando tinha cinco anos. Greg e ele viveram entre a casa dos dois por alguns anos e finalmente, quando jovens, decidiram morar com o pai em Mullingar. Niall foi um aluno do Coláiste Mhuire, Coláiste Mhuire e da Congregation de Christian Brothers.Durante um período, ele esteve no coral de sua escola, participando sazonalmente de uma canção natalina.

Antes de sua participação no The X Factor, ele executou diversas performances em sua terra natal, inclusive como um ato de apoio a Lloyd Daniels emDublin. Horan toca guitarra desde sua infância.
